Start your weaving year with this fantastic course. This day is a celebration of the many plant materials growing in our hedgerows, woodlands and gardens which we can use to make frame baskets of great beauty.
A truly sensory course, working with natural hand-foraged materials such as willow, dogwood, ivy and hazel. Each material has its own unique property, texture, smell and colour. Mollie will have hand harvest each strand and plant tendril from her garden and hedgerows in the landscape where she lives.
With the patient, expert tuition from Mollie you will go home with a beautiful woven frame basket.
Cakes and drinks included in the price.

All courses are situated in the glorious Hampshire countryside. Once you’ve booked your workshop, you’ll receive an email before the workshop confirming the venue.
The workshop locations in Hampshire are:
Mollie’s Studio, Hurst Barns, Hurst Lane, Hampshire GU34 3PL
OR
from Mollie’s garden at Kingswood, King Lane, Hampshire, GU32 1DS.
Occasionally at Mollie’s local village hall. -
No previous skills are necessary, although some manual dexterity and patience will be needed.

Please bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old clothes.
Bring a packed lunch and we will provide drinks and cakes throughout the day.

Minimum of 4 students per course, should there be insufficient numbers the course will be cancelled 3 weeks in advance & students notified via email.
